Tara Abdilla

Tara Abdilla is an OCR athlete and trail runner. She took up running recreationally in 2012 eventually evolving into a true passion. In fact she took it up more seriously in 2014. Her preference are ‘shorter’ distances with the 5km road race & 3000mts & 1500mts as her favourite races. In 2018 Tara increasingly focused her attention more on trail running and OCR. Tara is also a qualified Personal Trainer & Fitness Class Instructor.

Notable results include an enviable First Female (Age Group) in the 2019 Spartan Race - Super in Orte, Italy in April.

In 2018 Tara also placed 1st in all the following races:

- Agones Victoria Links 19k - 1st Female

- Agones Trail League - 1st Female

- Gozo Xterra 21k - 1st Female

- The Grid (June 2018) - 1st Female

- Torq 5k Trail Run - 1st Female

- The Grid Sprint (October 2018) - 1st Female

- Tara formed part of the Maltese National Team for the 2018 European World Mountain Running Championships 2018 in Macedonia and the World Mountain Running Championships in Andorra.
