Fabio Spiteri

Fabio Spiteri is a runner turned triathlete. His races were 400m, 800m and 1500m races two decades ago, winning several national 800m titles and also 2 bronze medals in Small Nation games. Eventually he switched to triathlon and he has so far managed to race 21 Half Ironman , 8 Full Ironman. In recent years Fabio achieved 2 national records in the Double Ironman (7.6km swim, 360km bike, 84km run in 26hrs 38 mins) and at the Triple Ironman World championships (11.6km swim, 560km bike, 126km run in 45hrs 44mins).

Fabio is now eyeing two more goals ahead: the Quintuple - 5x Ironman in 5 days and the Deca, 10 x Ironman in 10 days. He aims to fly high the Maltese flag in the toughest races only few dare to race!
